Palanivelraju is a locum Upper GI Consultant at the University Hospital of North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. He has worked to create and improve pathways for the gallbladder and biliary services.
He has particular interests in enhanced patient pathways, making an impact on improving patient care and reducing costs, as well as looking into ways to reduce the carbon footprint in surgical practice.
Palanivelraju has been a BADS Council Member since June 2025.
